Speaker at Beagle Aircraft Management Development Weekend May 2022
Billed as - “the life experience of a pole-slider, and the importance of good teamwork, in particular trust, good conflict, being committed, taking ownership (accountability) and achieving the result. The company uses The FIVE Dysfunctions of a TEAM as a reference book- with the focus on building trust around the team, to become better leaders."
I’d swotted up, read my copy of the book which I’ been sent twice.
As I spoke, it was exciting to find such a similar vibe and mood to my time in the fire brigade in the 1980’s! I felt such a strong connection & bond to the Beagle Aircraft management team of 9 guys and 3 women. I shared my life experiences and had a little informal workshop together, there were a lot of small “aha” moments, and takeaways.
I loved being part of the whole weekend, I felt empowered and that I was in the right place.
I’m so grateful to the team and John Taylor the Managing Director for the invitation to Beagle Aircraft Management Development Weekend, and embracing me as part of the crew.
Touchingly, as I left John gave me signed copy of the next book in the series, The IDEAL TEAMPLAYER. Which I’ll start on this week.
